ଯାଜପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲା, ବରୀ ବ୍ଲକ, ସ୍ୱାଇଁଖଣ୍ଡ ପଂଚାୟତ, କୁଶବଟ ଗାଁର ପିଲାଟାଏ, ଗଦାଧର ସାହୁ, ୱାର୍କର ଥିଲେ ହରିଆନାର ଗୋଟାଏ ପ୍ଲାଇଉଡ୍ କାରଖାନାରେ, କାମ କରୁଥିଲାବେଳେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ଲାଇ ଗଦା ତଳେ ଥିବା ସାପ କାମୁଡିଲା, ସେ ମରିଗଲେ ।
ଦୁଇମାସ ତଳେ ବାହା ହେଇଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କ ଶବକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ସେ ମାଲିକ ପଠାଇଲା ନାହିଁ ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ତ୍ର୍ରୀ ର ଶେଷ ଦର୍ଶନ ପାଇଁ,
ଯାଜପୁର ଏମ୍ ପି ଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି, ଶୁଣିଲେନି, ଯାଜପୁର କଲେକ୍ଟରଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି ଶୁଣିଲେନି, ଏସ୍ ଆର୍ ସି ଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି ଶୁଣିଲେନି, ମୁଖ୍ଯମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ, ତାଙ୍କ ଅଫିସ୍ କୁ, ଏସ୍ ଆର୍ ସି ଙ୍କୁ, ଚିଫ୍ ସେକ୍ରେଟାରୀ ଙ୍କୁ ମେଲ୍ ଲେଖିଲି, ଉତ୍ତର ନାହିଁ, କ’ଣ କାହାରି ସାହସ ନାହିଁ ସେ ମାଲିକକୁ ପଦେ କଥା କହିବାକୁ ? ଓଡିଆ ଏମ୍ ପି ମାନେ କେମିତିକା ନେତା ?
ଯଦି ଗଦାଧର ହରିଆନା ମୂଲ ଲାଗିବାକୁ ଯିବ, ସେଠି ମରିବ, ତାର ଶବ ବି ଫେରିବନି, ଏଗୁଡା ଏମ୍ ପି, ଏମ୍ଏଲ୍ଏ ହେବେ କାହିଁକି ନା ଓଡିଶାରେ ଗୋଟେ ସରକାର ରହିବ କାହିଁକି ?
ଯଦି ଗଦାଧର ସାହୁଙ୍କ ପରି ଓଡିଆ ଯୁବକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁରଟ, ହରିଆନା, ହାଇଦ୍ରାବାଦ ସରକାର କାମ ଯୋଗାଇ ଦେଇ ପାରୁଛନ୍ତି, ତାହେଲେ ମୁଁ ଓଡିଶା ସରକାରକୁ ଟିକସ ଦେବି କାହିଁକି ନା ଭୋଟ୍ ଦେବି କାହିଁକି ?
ସେ ଟଙ୍କା ତ ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର, ଗୁଜୁରାଟ, କେରଳ, ହରିଆନା ସରକାରକୁ ଦେଇଦେଲେ ସେମାନେ ଆଉ ଶହେଟା କାରଖାନା ବସେଇ ଓଡିଆଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ କିଛି କାମ ଯୋଗାଇ ଦେବେ, ଦଳେ ଗଧାଙ୍କୁ ଏମ୍ଏଲ୍ଏ ଏମପି କରି ଲାଭ କ’ଣ ? ଯଦି ଗଦାଧରମାନଙ୍କର ଶବ ବି ଓଡିଶା ଫେରେନି ?
ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଗତ ସ୍ତରରେ କିଛି ବନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି, ଭଦ୍ରକର ଏସ ପି ଯାଦବ ଓ ହରିଆନାର କିଛି ପରିଚିତ ବନ୍ଧୁଙ୍କୁ । ସେମାନେ ଫ୍ଲାଇଟ ଟିକେଟ କରିଦେବେ ବୋଲି କହିଲେ ଏବଂ ସେମାନେ ଗଦାଧରଙ୍କ ଘର ଲୋକ, ଗାଆଁ ଲୋକ ସରପଞ୍ଚ ଇତ୍ଯାଦିଙ୍କ ସହ କଥା ବି ହେଲେ । ହେଲେ ହରିଆନାରୁ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଶବ ନେବାକୁ ଯାହା ଯାହା କାଗଜ ପତ୍ର କାମ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ସେତେକ ସହଯୋଗ ବି ସେ କାରଖାନା ମାଲିକ କଲେ ନାହିିଁ। ଗଦାଧରଙ୍କ ଶବ ପାଖରେ ଯେଉଁ ମାନେ ଥିଲେ ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଶ୍ରମିକ, ସେତେବେଳକୁ ଭୋକ ଉପାସରେ ସେମାନେ ପାଖାପାଖି ଦଶ ବୃର ଘଣ୍ଟା ରହିଲେଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଆଉ ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ଯ ରହିଲା ନାହିିଁ, ସେମାନେ ଗଦାଧରଙ୍କ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ପ୍ରମୁଖ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିତ୍ବ ଯଥା କୁଶବଟର ଗଦାଧର ଜେନା, ଯଁପଡା ର ବିଜୟ କୁମାର ନାୟକ ଇତ୍ୟାଦିଙ୍କ ସହ ପରାମର୍ଶ କରି ଅନ୍ଯ କିଛି ଉପାୟ ନପାଇ ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟହରା ହୋଇ ସେଠାରେ ନିଜସ୍ବ ସମ୍ବଳରେ ଗଦାଧରଙ୍କ ଦାହ ସଂସ୍କାର କରିଦେଲେ, ନା କମ୍ପାନୀ ମାଲିକ ନା ଓଡିଆ ସାଂସଦ ନା ଓଡିଶା ସରକାର, କେହି କିଛି ସହଯୋଗ କଲେ ନାହିିଁ। ମୋର ମନ ବହୁତ ଦୁଃଖ ହେଲା, ମୁଁ ସେତେବେଳେ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ଵରରୁ ବହୁତ ଦୂରରେ ଥାଏ, କୌଣସି ଏକ କାମରେ ଯାଉଥାଏ। ଦୁଃଖଦ।

The worker Gadadhar Sahoo, expired on 25 th August 2018 while in service, due to snake bite in his work place, at Haryana.
However the company didn’t even shoulderd the responsibility to send the dead body, to the deceased worker’s village to Odisha, even on humanitarian ground.
They cremated the body there at Bahadurgarh.
Some people contacted the MP Jajpur, for help, ( as the deceased belongs to Jajpur Loksabha constituency ), the MP remained in the back foot, couldn’t dare to talk to the company people, and no help from MP.
Some people informed one spokesman of BJP , Odisha unit , with a hope that he might have some connections, as Haryana is a BJP ruled state, he remained silent.
Information was also passed on to the collector, Jajpur, he remained silent, it is not known what initiative the collector has taken so far and what help he has extended.
It is a matter of concern that Odisha Human Resources , Odia youths are investing their energy for the entrepreneurs of Haryana, Gujurat, Andhra Pradesh etc, strengthening the economy of the entrepreneurs and the respective states, But neither the entrepreneurs nor those state govts are recognising the contribution of the Odia work force nor do they have a little respect to the dignity of labour.
In most of the work places the working condition and living condition is worst, snake bite is the example.
On the other hand
Neither the state govt is capable of giving ample work opportunities to Odisha youths within the state nor have the influence to handle such issues nor they are feeling ashamed of it .
Late Gadadhar sahoo, who hailed from a very very poor family , died at the age of 30,
What will be the fate of the recently married widow ,
What will be the fate of his parents who lost young earning son ?
Will the state govt come forward to extend the helping hand to the distressed family ?
Not one, many Gadadhar Sahoo are living in such conditions, in Surat, Hyderabad, Raipur, Kerala and many other places.
Can we expect this govt will extend a helping hand on humanitarian ground ?
